Healthy eating starts with good insights. That’s exactly what four IT students from UCLL set out to provide. During a five-week project with Leuven 2030, they built a new version of the EcoFoodMap: a digital tool that visualises how people in Leuven eat – and what that means for policy.
The collaboration was part of the Leuven 2030 Urban Lab, where students tackle real-world challenges with social impact. In a short interview, one student and their lecturer share what the project meant for them – and what they learned along the way.
